DISINFECTING GENERAL USE

For use on hard, non-porous surfaces such as walls, floors, metal surfaces, stainless steel
surfaces, porcelain and plastic surfaces.
1. Remove gross filth and heavy soil deposits then thoroughly wet surfaces as required. 2.
Use 8 ml per litre of water for a minimum contact time of 10 minutes in a single
application.
2. Can be applied with a mop, sponge or cloth, coarse spray or by soaking.
3. The recommended use solution is prepared fresh for each use then discarded.
4. Rinsing is not necessary unless floors are to be waxed or polished.
MILDEWSTATIC INSTRUCTIONS:
Will effectively control the growth of mold and mildew plus the odours caused by them when
applied to hard, non-porous surfaces such as walls, floors and table tops.
1. Apply solution (8ml per litre of water) with cloth, mop, sponge or coarse spray
making sure to wet all surfaces completely.
2. Let air dry.
3. Repeat application at weekly intervals or when mildew growth reappears.
POULTRY HOUSE DISINFECTANT
1. Remove all poultry and feed from premises, trucks, coops and crates.
2. Remove all litter and droppings from floors, walls, and surfaces of facilities occupied
or traversed by poultry.
3. Empty all troughs, racks and other feeding and watering appliances.
4. Thoroughly clean all surfaces with soap or detergent and rinse with water.
5. Saturate all surfaces with the recommended disinfecting solution for a period of 10
minutes (8 mL per Litre of water).
6. Ventilate buildings, coops and other closed spaces. Do not house poultry or employ
equipment until treatment has been absorbed, set or dried.
7. Thoroughly scrub treated feed racks, troughs automatic feeders, fountains and
waterers with soap or detergent and rinse with potable water before reuse. For use in
inspected meat and poultry plants as a general cleaning agent on all surfaces or for
use with steam or mechanical cleaning device in all departments. Before use of this
compound, food products and packaging material must be removed from the room or
carefully protected. After use of this compound, all surfaces in the area must be
thoroughly rinsed with potable water.
Special instruction for cleaning and decontaminating against HIV-1 on surfaces
and objects soiled with blood or bodily fluids:
This product is effective against HIV-1 (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) in the presence of
organic soil (5% serum).
Personal Protection:

When handling items soiled with blood or bodily fluids, wear disposable latex gloves, gowns,
masks and eye coverings.
Cleaning Procedure:
Thoroughly clean blood or bodily fluids from surfaces before application of disinfectant.
Contact time:
Effective against HIV-1 on hard non-porous surfaces in the presence of a moderate amount
of organic soil (5% blood serum) when used at a 1:128 dilution (providing 600 ppm of active
quaternary) in 400 ppm CaCO3 hard water for a contact time of 4 minutes at room
temperature (20-25ºC). Use a ten-minute contact time for disinfection against all other
bacteria, fungi and viruses claimed.
Disposal of infectious materials:
Blood, bodily fluids, cleaning materials and clothing should be autoclaved and disposed of
according to provincial and local regulations for infectious waste disposal. A concentrated,
multi-purpose germicidal detergent and deodorant effective in hard water up to 400 ppm
hard water (calculated as CaCO3) plus 5% organic serum. Disinfects, cleans and deodorizes
in one labour saving step. Virucidal against HIV-1, Influenza A/Hong Kong, Herpes Simplex
Type 1, Herpes Simplex Type 2, Vaccinia virus, Rubella virus, Adenovirus Type IV, Feline
piornavirus, Feline leukemia, Canine distemper, Rabies, Pseudorabies and Infectious
bronchitis (Avian IBV), according to the virucidal qualification, modified in the presence of
400 ppm hard water plus 5% organic serum at a 1:128 dilution.
